Today, I realize as I think about the vicious assaults on Christianity in this country these days, that we are facing a challenge that lies ahead, not only spiritually, but personally and politically, as well. You see, we are all human, Christians and Non-Christians. We all make mistakes, yet it seems that in the eyes of man, through the media and such, that Christians are expected by Non-Christians and even other Christians, to indeed be perfect. Let me clarify something for you, the reader. Christians are not perfect. Some may think they are but that is a personal fault. Christians are human too, Christians make errors too, the only real difference between a Christian and a Non-Christian on the error chart is that Christians believe they are forgiven. Forgiveness is a divine premise which to the eye of the beholder does not exist except to the one who believes and trusts in that forgiveness with the very breath they breathe daily. This kind of association in Christianity is usually what is referred to as Faith. Blind faith in a being greater and more powerful, more loving, more angry, than any other entity on earth....and entity that was here before the world we know and who will be here after the world we know...seems far fetched to some. I know it does, because if you stop and think about who God truly is, who He always has been and who He will continue to be, you think that all of this is just simply a story because the idea is really just impossible. But....it isn't because it is real, and that is simply put all the defense it needs. The Bible, Jesus, the Jewish people, all the fulfilled prophecies that have simply unfolded in the last 62 years, this being 2009....simply point to a larger more real picture than we as humans are going to be ready to face. Some of us understand all too well what is coming, and some of us are naive. Our road map for survival, for preparedness, for security no matter what is in the greatest love letter on earth. Read your Bible....study your scriptures, be prepared.
The sinner continues to sin and live according to the ways of choice and freewill. The Christian, the true Christian, not the casual Christian, lives by a premise of desire to be more likened unto Jesus, closed off to worldly pleasures, forgiven but not perfect. The true Christian wants and desires a closer walk with the Lord and through a personal salvation with Jesus bearing our sins, a relationship unlike any here on earth begins to unfold.
Walk this week with the Lord more fervently in your thoughts and mind. Keep Him and pleasing Him above all else, and know that He is watching over you and keeping you as you walk with Him.

What are you going to do with Jesus?
I love this and found it recently while looking around on Tangle. I thought I would share this with the online community because we all need to hear truth. God Bless.
